London is decorated with Christmas illumination

In spite of the fact that there is even more than one and a half of a month left till Christmas, the preparation for the holiday is in full swing in the United Kingdom. On Wednesday in the evening the Christmas illumination has been turned on at Oxford Street, the well-known business street of the British capital. Thousands of Londoners came here to be the first, who would see the festive illumination. This year the main theme of the streets design became the animation film “Spellbound” (Enchanted).These days Oxford Street welcomes its visitors with the festively designed shop-windows and shop facades, with decorated lampposts and trees. Last weekend Santa Claus arrived in London. One can have a conversation with him and order gifts in the well-known department store Harrods.

Since November, 19 annually the London Regent Street flourished with new bright colors - here the Christmas lights, symbolizing the opening of the official season of gifts purchasing for winter holidays, are also being turned on.
